Los Increíble

Well, I saw The Incredibles for the second time in two days last night. I can honestly say that it is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen in my life. A very potential contender for a spot in my top 5 favorite movies. (At the very least, it's on the top 10.)
As I was watching the second time, I was trying to figure out why I liked it so much. It had Super-heroes, okay, but that by itself isn't much. It was funny. Funnier than the other Pixar movies. (And that is saying something.) But it wasn't the funniest movie I've ever seen. About 20 minutes into the movie, it hit me: It was so realistic! Okay, super-powers and impossible technology aside, the script was about as close to life as you could get. The voice actors were convincing in their dialogue, and even the animation was realistic. (Point-in-case: when Mr. Incredible finds that the villains haven't discovered where his wife is, his sigh of relief and the way he fell back into the chair was EXACTLY how I would envision a man in his position to act. It was almost perfect.) I could go on, bring up instances like the argument between Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, or when Frozone asks his wife for his super-suit, or the family dinner. The list goes on.
Of course, there were other reasons I liked the movie: The aforementioned Super-heroes; the fact that it is VERY funny; the action scenes are very well done; the music is great. . . To be perfectly honest, I have only one bad thing to say about this movie: I object to Edna's use of the Lord's name in vain. I didn't like that, and the movie didn't need it. (Although I will admit that it fits with the character.) Other than that, though. . . I have nothing bad to say The Incredibles. I'm gonna buy it the second it comes out on DVD.
