Dile al Sol...

that it's too dang hot! Anyway... Not much happening. 16 credits is a bit more than I was expecting, and I'm having trouble keeping up. But for the most part I am keeping up. I'm in a couple clubs, which is cool. I'm loving my Spanish and Italian classes. And I like most of the rest. Geology is hard though. But hey...

So, I'm really looking forward to the Serenity movie coming out Friday. I just watched the series for the first time last week and it was awesome. It's one of those series' that never got the chance it desereved. Like Brimestone or Nowhere Man.

Speaking of which, NOWHERE MAN IS COMING OUT ON DVD!!!!!!!! I am so freaking psyked. It's not till December, but I figure, I've waited eight years to watch it again, I can wait a few months more.

I love UrbanDead. It's an awesome game. If you like zombies, check it out.

I was one of the questions on the Latest PCGamer podcast! That's awesome. Plus I'm glad to know that such hardcore gamers like the PCG editors aren't like most of the idiot gamers out there who are just like: "If it doesn't have killer graphics it's not worth my time." Man those idiots are morons. But hey, I guess the world needs idiots like them to make the rest of us feel smart. No?

que yo no digo nada. (Aquí)

I don't talk politics on this site. But I've decided that that won't stop me from linking to other places that do. I do promise that this will be rare, though. Here is a column done by Orson Scott Card. One of the greatest Sci-Fi authors of our day, if not of the past century. It says a lot of the stuff I believe in a much more eloquent manner that I could ever do. It doesn't say everything that I think, but it covers a large portion in a small space. Check it out, and keep an open mind.

Todo está bien en Sión! ;)

Well, everything has gone pretty good for me today. It started out kinda bad. I forgot to finish a take-home quiz for Spanish and though Italian was a great class today, I kinda made an idiot of myself without meaning to. But then it got pretty good. I got all of playing cards today, so I can lay some Magic/Battletech/Rage/Magi-Nation smackdown now. Then, I bought a new Orson Scot Card book called "First Meetings in Ender's Universe" about Ender and his parents. (I didn't even know it existed before. And it was a nice complement to the Spanish Ender's Game I bought 2 days ago,) and Then went to an Orson Scott Card book signing!!!! WOO HOO!!! He explained about the EG movie a bit. (Basically, it boils down to: "If we can agree on a script, it might be out in 2-5 years. If not, no movie. Oh, and he wants Queen Latifah in the movie. He said that in the script HE wants he wrote a part for her. No joke.)
Anyway, it hasn't happened yet, but in just a few hours I'll be going to a film forum to watch and discuss "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds." SWEET! I am happy. Could it get any better? ('cause I know it could get worse.)

La Universidad

Well, here I am, at college. Been here for just over a week now. It's pretty good. Rather big. A lot bigger than what I'm used to, but I'm sure I'll get accustomed sooner or later. I like all of my clsses so far, but I had to spend almost $400 on text books!!!! Holy freeking crud, that's a LOT. But hey, there's so many cute girls here it's almost worth it. Now if I can just convince one to go out with a nerd like me... But, hey. One step at a time, no?
